As above, I have had a diverse career which included management roles. I have 14 years’ experience in social work, beginning my career in social care. I have worked in Child Protection and Welfare, Sexually Harmful Behaviour Service, Adoption and Family Support. I have now moved away from working for Tusla, to working in private social work and consultancy roles. My passion in social work is meeting people, assessment work, and supporting colleagues as individuals or groups, in all the places we find ourselves as social workers.
Masters in Social Work
Life Coaching, experience of burnout and returning to work afterwards are the ones that come to my mind when I think of my skills. I know what it is like to feel lost and overwhelmed, I also know how to come back from that, to calm and bring a stillness, a safe space to talk about it. That is what you can expect from any supervision sessions with me.
