They are elected by members at the Annual General Meeting and bring vision and direction for the Association and engage in tasks relating to Membership, Treasury, Policy Development, Journal, Line Managing Employees, Communications and International Affairs.
As the governing body of the IASW, the Board also carries responsibility for the legal, financial, and regulatory obligations of the Association, including company governance, employment responsibilities, data protection, health and safety, financial reporting, and the promotion of the IASW Code of Ethics and Practice.
