Who We Are

The Irish Association of Social Workers is the national professional body for social workers in the Republic of Ireland. It was founded in 1971 and has a membership of more than 1,800 social workers.

IASW Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is elected every year by the Membership at the AGM. The Board of Directors is charged with providing vision and direction for the Association and engage in tasks relating to Membership, Treasury, Policy Development, Journal, Line Managing Employees, Communications and International Affairs.
