These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website and services provided by The National Social Work Organisation of Ireland CLG trading as Irish Association of Social Workers (“IASW”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

2. Membership Eligibility
Membership of IASW is restricted to those actively seeking a CORU approved social work qualification, qualified or registered social workers.
Applicants may be required to provide professional registration details, qualifications, employment information, or other documentation necessary to verify eligibility for membership and maintain professional standards.
Applicants and members must comply with IASW Membership Policy and maintain accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
IASW reserves the right to verify eligibility, including confirmation of registration with the relevant professional body (including CORU where applicable).

When applying for membership, applicants agree that:
- All information provided in the application is true and accurate

If your payment card expires or your details change, you may:

5. Membership Renewals and Payments
Membership renewals are processed automatically on an annual or monthly, when applicable, basis.
- Members paying annually will receive a reminder email approximately 30 days before renewal payment is processed.
- Members paying monthly will not receive a reminder before their monthly payment is processed
- If you do not wish to renew your membership, you must contact the IASW office before the renewal date.
- Failure to cancel renewal in advance may result in payment being processed.
Membership fees are charged according to your membership category.
If a member believes their category has changed due to unemployment, retirement, or other circumstances, they must contact IASW to review their status. Adjustments apply only from the date IASW is notified and are not applied retrospectively.
If a member does not notify IASW of a change in circumstances, they may be automatically placed into the applicable full membership category and charged accordingly.

Student members will automatically transition to First Year Post Qualification membership between February and March following course completion.
